The Autumn List is the story of young Jason Beck who returns one summer to a small southern town to work for his Uncle. Jason, having completed but a few semesters of college, has dropped out (temporarily or so he says) to earn money and contemplate a direction for his life. His Uncle's business, a retirement village for seniors called 'Autumn House', is a place Jason visited often in the summers of his youth. There he forged many childhood memories and adventures including Rachel whom Jason remembers only as a gangly, clumsy little girl with pig-tails and no front teeth. Much to his surprise (and interest), that is no longer the case for she has now blossomed in her womanhood.

   The story is filled with memorable characters from the 'Autumn House' and the surrounding town who help tell the story of the lives we all weave through time. Chris has expressed a particular excitement about this Novel in that it will grab the readers attention immediately and serve as a mirror for us all in which to view ourselves.
   Writing on 'The Autumn List' is currently under way. The book is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2006.
